How do we choose the right photographer?
Each couple has their priorities when it comes to wedding planning, and photography rarely ever sits on top of the totem pole, for obvious reasons. Here are some things to consider when hunting for your perfect photographer:
Portfolio - Does their work appeal to you? Have they done weddings similar to yours in the past? Does their style match your tastes?
Budget - How do they compare to other photographers in the area? Does their work stand up to their prices? (Bonus tip: ask your married friends how much they paid for a starting point).
Chemistry - Is the photographer easy to talk to? Are they easy to reach? Do they respond in a timely manner? (Best way to establish chemistry is by booking an engagement shoot prior to the wedding! This way you get to see them in action first hand).
How far out should we start looking for a photographer?
As early as possible! Photographers may sometimes be booked 9-12 months in advance, sometimes even farther ahead. If they are available for your big day, you like their work and pricing, send that deposit and lock it in before someone else swoops in! That’s one less thing you will have to worry about as you plan your wedding.

What is your process after we book you?
Once I calm my sheer excitement down a little, I will reach out, within 24hrs, to set a time for a video chat, so we can get to know each other! Nearly all my packages come with a complimentary engagement session, so we’ll plan that out together during this call. Fast forward past the engagement shoot, and I will reach out again to set a time for our second call; this one usually takes longer for good reason. We will set a game plan for the big day, decide the optimum for group photos, couple photos, etc, and discuss anything else that comes to your mind!
Do you offer prints?
Yes! Take your wedding memories to the next level and order prints, enlargements or albums. Albums are great ice breakers for times when you have friends or family over. Just let me know what you would like during your inquiry so I may get you exactly what you need.
Do you watermark your photos?
Absolutely not. Your digital photos and prints will always be watermark free.
