…the MAN, the MYTH, the LEGE-okay okay I’m getting carried away… but now that I’ve lived my fantasy of being introduced like the world heavyweight champion, let’s get to know me!
My name is Mohammed Irbaz Ali, or just Ali for short. I live in the ‘burbs down in Aurora, IL, and want to live in the heart of Chicago one day. I enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2019, and operate big ol’ trucks when I am not capturing weddings. I enjoy long, scenic hikes during the summer, shooting crazy ideas in my studio, and sledding (belly side down), on steep hills in the winter.
Capturing love moves me. The first look when your s/o finally lays eyes on you, your fiancé playing ‘where’s Waldo’ in your henna, trying to find their name, the first kiss, parents holding in tears while draping your necks with flower garlands; moments like these captivate me, and make me tear up more than I’d like to admit. I am 100% in my element when I’m behind my camera and on the dance floor. You best believe I’m out-dancing EVERYONE during reception time! As much as I love to dance and party, I know exactly when to tone it down and become a wall hugging ninja, capturing candids when you least expect them. It’s all about balance!
